Dr. Vishal Sahni
Dr. Vishal Sahni is a Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery with experience of over 24 years at consultant level. Dr. Sahni specializes in shoulder, elbow, wrist & hand disorders. He has been a meritorious student throughout and whilst in Medical School, he was awarded “Best Student of University” medal, for all round excellence in academics, sports , dramatics & extra curricular activities. His higher surgical training was in the North West of England. He undertook a fellowship in upper limb surgery with Professor John Stanley in Wrightington Hospital. He also underwent advanced training in keyhole and joint replacement surgery for shoulder & elbow joints with Professor Simon Frostick in Royal Liverpool University Hospital. He is very keen on recent advances in shoulder & elbow surgery and to keep himself updated with the latest advances all over the World he regularly undertakes visitations.

- Professor Pascal Boileu in Nice, France
He has published and presented extensively both nationally & internationally. He is actively involved in teaching and training and is a senior lecturer at the University of Liverpool. He has trained many surgeons who have gone on to take up consultant posts themselves. He runs, annually, very successful and oversubscribed master classes in both shoulder and sports injuries for orthopaedic trainees, GPs, physiotherapists etc.
He successfully led his team to design, develop & perform ROBOT assisted shoulder arthroscopic surgery with excellent patient testimonials. This was the first reported case in the world of use of ROBOT in shoulder arthroscopic surgery. He is also a keen cyclist and cricketer and his other main interest is travelling. Recently he cycled from London to Paris to raise funds for the charity Autism Initiatives.
